HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING REQUEST: Your booking request and subsequent reservation is taken subject to the following Terms and Conditions. Please take a minute to read them then complete the "Booking and Enquiry form" from this site. CONDITIONS OF RENTAL: 1 To confirm your booking, you will have 7 working days in which to pay a deposit. Payment can be made via the internet, cheque or money order 2 A 2nt minimum period applies to all bookings except for long weekends 3nt, Easter 4nts (in Thursday out Monday or any 4 nights including part of Easter) and xmas/new year (in 26 Dec-out 02 Jan) which is 7 nights 3 Most check-in times are 2.00pm and check-out is 11.00am. At some times of the year, these can be flexible 4 Country Getaways acts as booking agent for the various accommodation properties. A $20 non-refundable fee to process all bookings is charged 5 All tariffs quoted at the time of booking shall be subject to change without notice. We accept no responsibility for any misinformation or misrepresentation given by the Proprietors of these properties 6 Pets are not allowed at any of the properties without the WRITTEN consent of Country Getaways on your Confirmation documents. We reserve the right to terminate the tenancy if pets are found to be brought on the property without permission. This includes visiting pets 7 All properties are non-smoking inside. Please dispose of butts thoughtfully 8 The number of guests allowed to stay at the property is strictly as per your Letter of Confirmation. In some cases, there is an additional charge for extra guests. Failure to pay this will result in immediate termination of the tenancy. Country Getaways does random checks on all properties 9 Cleaning: Country Getaways prides itself in having clean well kept properties and all our properties are professionally cleaned upon Guests' departure. All properties carry a cleaning fee which ranges from $30-65. This means that upon departure empty your rubbish into the wheelie bin and leave the place neat & tidy. This fee is payable at time of booking. We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning fees if required 10 Damage: All properties are rented to you in good faith on the condition that you look after it as it was your own. Existing/known damage has been recorded (eg stains on carpet). Any additional damage, whether reported by you or found by us must be paid for and you will be invoiced accordingly 11 Country Getaways, its agents and servants/staff shall not be liable for damage, injury, loss or delay whilst at the accommodation or any related activity 12 Country Getaways is not responsible for the actions, lack of actions or negligence of any of the property owners/representatives or guests 13 Any disputes with owners/proprietors of the property is between you and them and must be settled directly with the owners. Country Getaways accepts no responsibility for any actions or lack of action of the proprietors or guests 14 We reserve the right to cancel bookings or refuse a booking if the property becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the control of the owners/proprietors 15 Please leave things as they were found upon arrival (eg hot water, keys) 16 Many homeowners have minimum stays (eg long weekends) and we respect their decision to do this 17 We suggest taking out Travel Insurance 18 Specials eg. "3 nights for 2" can only be used once per booking. PAYMENT DETAILS 1.   To confirm your booking a non-refundable deposit of $200 must be received within 7 days of making the booking 2.   The balance is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival. 3.   Bookings for Peak periods must be paid for IN FULL 3 months prior to your arrival 4.   Bookings for High periods must be paid for IN FULL 2 months prior to your arrival 5.   Bookings made more than 6 months in advance for Xmas/new year must be paid for IN FULL by 31 July. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS: If cancelled 6 weeks prior to occupancy: the deposit paid will be forfeited If cancelled between 3-5 weeks prior to occupancy 10% of cost of accommodation or $200 (whichever is greater) If cancelled 2 weeks prior to occupancy 50% of cost of accommodation or $200 (whichever is greater) If cancelled within 1 week prior to occupancy 100% of cost of accommodation plus admin fee. If any nights booked are subsequently re-sold, the above cancellation fees will be reduced, less full admin fee. These Terms and Conditions may be negotiable, dependant on the time of year and at the owner's discretion. In some cases, we may be able to hold payment "in trust" for use within a 6 month period for use at the same property. If not used within 6 months, the deposit will be forfeited. SEASONS & RATES: The following chart is on the individual property web pages. All rates are quoted per night. In some cases, seasons vary slightly per property and some properties offer 5 nights for the price of three.    2 Night Minimum booking applies (3nts long weekends, Easter 4 nights) Rates based on X -X guests/night. All information received from guests will be used solely by Country Getaways to process your booking. This information will only be disclosed to the owner of the property to which you have been assigned.
